This product contains a few key ingredients that are very important. The Silica is sourced from bamboo and the vitamin C is sourced from Amla, also known as Indian Gooseberry. If the vitamin C had been sourced from Ascorbic Acid, I would not have purchased it. Ascorbic Acid is not a whole vitamin C. Ascorbic Acid is the outer coating of the vitamin C molecule. Ascorbic Acid is known to actually harden arteries. Bamboo is an excellent source of Silica. I'm about to turn 60, and I do not look like it, baby. This product has tightened my skin and smoothed out wrinkles. I had been taking a Hyalauranic Acid powder. The HA works great, but this product by Garden of Life really changed the game for my skin. I saw a significant difference after a few weeks of use. The condition of your outer skin is a reflection of the condition of your inner skin. So, if your outer skin is doing well, then you can be confident that your intestinal and heart skin are doing well, too.

This had everything in it that I was looking for and I was really exciting try it. Unfortunately, it was very gritty to me. I tried a few times in a glass of water, in a smoothie, but ended up dumping it out. The flavor was ok, but I just can't get past the grit.

A friend recommended trying collagen supplements so here I am! I've been taking for maybe a couple of weeks now and it might be my imagination but I feel like maybe my skin is looking a little less dry and tired. I know it will take months to notice a difference in hair so I will be patient. The flavor is good and fruity, but is probably best blended into a smoothie. I've tried just mixing it in water and the end result doesn't blend perfectly with just stirring and is a little thick and funky to drink. Doable, but again, much better blended with ice. Overall I'm excited to be adding back the nutrients my skin and hair needs to be at its very best, and it's nice to have a tasty way to do so!
