Bought two both died within a year and replacing the battery didn't help. No more. Very dissatisfied.
I really love the design and it's very easy to set up. The only issue is the screen numbers is very small. The vivofit 2 I had before screen was much larger and I didn't have to use my glasses to read it.
I have had every Fitbit made. In one week three of them went out on me. Fed up with poor customer service I started looking for another brand, I saw this, researched thoroughly and at this price you can't go wrong. I am disabled and use a walker, so I bought an XL to wear it on my ankle. Put my Fitbit on one ankle, and this Garmin Vivofit 3 on the other, it matched Fitbit step for step. The band is super comfortable, but it is hard to fasten. I love this Garmin. It synced to my Samsung Galaxy Tab s2 Wi Fi tablet fast and seamless, I don't have a smart phone. Not having to charge it every two days is a bonus! I love the back light and watch, the timer, everything about it. No, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles. It's almost "old school". But that is fine with me. It has six clock faces to choose from. Something only the very expensive Fitbits have, it's simple to use, and accurate. I do some dance steps with my walker, forward, backward, side to side and running in place. It picked up everything. The application is somewhat cluttered and not user friendly, but worth it to get out of dying Fitbits that don't hold charges. So, even you seniors with walkers to mom's pushing baby strollers can use this. I highly recommend it. If it should die, I can replace the battery, or if it goes out it's cheap enough to get another one. Good job Garmin. I'm going to bed smiling to night!
Other than having to sync the band manually I really like this Garmin band. The app is very nice, and the band works like it should. Overall it's a lot better than the Jawbone I had before that broke every 3 months.
The vivofit 3 is great. It gets me motivated to do more walking. It does everything that it says it does. Steps, goal, calories, distance, intense exercise, date and time. I also love that it is not a rechargeable battery. What I don't like about it is that is hard to sync it. sometimes I have to go through the steps several times before it succeeds to sync.
