Vivofit Jr is excellent watch for my son. He loves the total ecosystem designed for kids to encourage activity both online and offline. He is definitely proud when he beats his dad in step. 1-year battery is allows my son to keep the watch on everyday and night. Only knock on it that band keeper breaks/rips.

Bought for my son as he's doing a steps competition at school. It's a very light weight easy to wear and was easy to set up with the app. However the screen is very dark. I spent ages trying to work out if there was a plastic film over the top of it and then tried to google how to brighten screen but nothing has worked and it's seems it's just very dark which makes it harder to read. Also to set up the family app the questions were a little hard I felt as not everyone is aware of the names of the bones in the body or what foods are rich in Iron.

The features on this watch and app are great for my 7 year old, however, after a few days of wearing it he developed a burn like band around his wrist - I checked the fitting and it wasn't rubbing so if your child has sensitive skin keep an eye on it! He has had other watches etc that haven't done this so can only assume it is the material that has reacted with him.

All three of my kids own this watch and it is an excellent product. My older two have had their watches for over a year and my youngest just got his. They are motivated by the step count and coins for chores. The customer service offered is also exceptional. This has been a great purchase.

Its help cut back on a lot of "reminding" now she willinging puts away toys to see if she gets a coin". I like how many alarms I can set for her medications. My biggest dislike is she doesn't have to go far before it's no longer synced which is proving to be a pain. I would love to speak with garmin developers on more advanced work on it as it could really benefit my daughter in her medical needs.
