GE MSWF SmartWater Refrigerator Water Filter

I have ordered these before on walmart and they worked well. Disappointed this time as it was a faulty filter which made a weird noise on installing. Had to return!

Filter is in and working fine. Just wish that Walmart would have a healthy stock on the shelf so I wouldn't have to order. Must be a valuable item because it used to be on the shelf all the time, now I cannot find it in 4 different stares.

Though this filter was not cheap, the Walmart price seemed fair compared with the other online prices. The filter installed easily, and it seems to be working as advertised..

I ordered this filter to replace an old one. It was just what I was looking for. I tried "off" brands & they did not work as "promised" I have found that using the correct part, instead of "compatible generic" ones to be best for my needs. I had no trouble replacing the filter and it works just as it should!! The price was VERY good also as I found the same part for alot more money in other stores. I would definitely purchase this again!!

It is obvious from the package that these are not "official" GE Water Filters, and the disclaimer on the package makes me uncomfortable. That said, perhaps they will work the same. Just installed so unsure yet how they will work.
