GE Profile - 36" Built-In Electric Cooktop - Black

I know it is a matter of personal preference, but I love the knobs on this cooktop. We replaced a different brand with the touch control. I always felt the need to “lock” it when I was finished cooking. Although I can lock this one, I never do because the knobs have a bright red light under them telling you the burner is on. The burners heat up quickly and I love the bridge burner for my large oval pots and my griddle. I am very happy with this cooktop!

We purchased this model because it was the only one available with the features and size we needed. Very handsome glass surface but really hard to keep clean. We cook a lot so we're constantly wiping and polishing the cooktop because it gets stain spots even when hot water touches the surface

The product has worked well so far. The only issue I have is that the light under the knob on the left front burner doesn't go off when the element is turned off. We have to work it back and forth for the light to go off. I want to make sure it goes off so that I can ensure the element is turned off and doesn't cause a fire. All of the other lights under the knobs turn off immediately when the knob is placed in the off position.

love all the neat features but hate how dirty the glass top gets. First time having glass top cooktop. I was used to the electric type with the elements. Keeping clean is the only problem I have found so far but I bought the cleaning wipes and kit to use.

I researched many stove tops and chose this one for many reasons. I love the burners to use for a griddle pan, rapid boil and the 5 burners. But the first time I used it a piece of a chopped onion got on the burner. I have tried everything and cannot get the stain/mark off. It shows everything and does not clean as well as I hoped.
