GE Profile - Advantium 240 1.7 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave - Stainless steel

This oven is the cornerstone of all forms of cooking. The reason I love it is because in a smaller home in the desert, this saves money by not having to turn on the big gas oven during summer. My only recommendation is to have an extended service warranty because it does break down now and then but is still a great buy.

This is our second Advantium oven, first one lasted 22 years. Love the clean smooth button surface and most of the features....BUT WISH THE CLOCK WOULD STAY ON!!!! Owner manual states the clock only remains on for a short period of time (~10 seconds), then turns off ...'to save energy'!!! Give me a break, how much energy does an LED clock use???

I previously had a 20 year old Advantium unit that had a 240v flash oven/microwave. I definitely wanted to stay with a 240v to get the faster cooking speeds. This new unit has that and way more. Plus I was able to use the previous mounting plate and the mounting holes in the cabinet lined up with new unit.

I had an advantium oven for 21 years and loved it. This is our 2 advantium oven and definitely doesn't disappoint. great new features and very easy to use. All our appliances are ge and we love them all.

I bought this to replace our old advantium that we had for 15 years. Our old one was still running but was looking pretty sad after all these years. I know that there are people that say they would never cook meat in a speed cook oven. We said the same thing till it was raining one night and we couldn't go outside to BBQ as planned. We popped our pork chops in oven and cooked them on the speed cook option. The chops were so good! Not dry but really juicy. It was such a great new way to cook. The updated features on the new models are amazing! It's bigger inside. It now has convection along with the speed cook and Micro wave options. And it's so much easier to clean. Even the outside is easy to clean. Life on the go is so much easier with this oven.
