Great generator for the sale price! Well made and not too hard to put wheels on and get it ready! For the electric start that's a great feature for a senior citizen!

I cannot say anything about the equipment as I have not started it yet. However, the support is non-existent as I have repeatedly tried to call or email on how to connect the battery . I received an email that said someone was going to reply or assist me. But it has been over a month and I have yet to get an answer. I will rate again later after I finally start the generator.

We lost power for a couple of days during a Storm in June of 2012 and then adain when Sandy struck. Two very unnerving situations. Our home is total electric. We decided to invest in a back up system and chose the Gentron 3500 because of its size and features (electric start). The generator arrived within 5 days of purchase and in good condition. I installed the wheels and battery in about 1 hour. Added the oil and turned the key. It started right up and wsen't too noisy. I also started it with the pull cord. Started up after two pulls. I ran it for a couple of hours to power a refrigerator and electric leaf blower at the same time. The unit worked flawlessly. Hope we don't need to use it, but if we do I'm sure we can depend on it to meet our needs.
