Product is great. It is a little heavy, so your outlets need to be "tight". Otherwise command strips are efficient at helping them stay up.

This is my 3rd GermGuardian air purifier. The first 2 worked well, helping to reduce the odor from the neighbors wood fire. However, they pulled air in the back, and pushed out the front, making for good circulation throughout the room. This one brings air in the back, and blows it out both sides. Unless it's in the middle of the room, with nothing near it, it sets up a very localized air pattern rather than cleaning the entire room.

This air filtration system works! Here in Alaska, with no central HVAC, there's typically no air filtration. That means lots of free-floating household dust and allergens. Before purchasing this unit I would awaken each morning so stuffy I could barely breath and my eyes would itch like crazy. After one day and night with this unit operating at full speed I was breathing and sleeping much better. After a week I have no more sneezing and stuffiness. The Germ Guardian works quietly, efficiently, and I highly recommend it!

I have Severe Allergies and Asthma, have kept Air Purifiers in every room of our house for many years. I have become so frustrated with Big Name Air Purifier Makers selling Expensive Air Purifiers then DISCONTINUING the FILTERS after a few years so that we have to buy the NEW MODELS of their Air Purifiers. FINALLY, an Air Purifier that uses a Commonly Available Filter!!!

I immediately noticed a difference when I plugged in the air purifier. There was a visible reduction of dust particles in the air. 3 levels, highest setting is very loud but I would probably only run it on high if I was cleaning or trying to remove a smell. I love that it comes with an extra filter.
