I had to use this product to guard my son from a floor level window, it's a great invention. It expands to as much as you need, not like the plastic gates. I would recomend this to anyone. I bought this because growing up we had one, and I loved it. the price wasn't so bad either!

Works well to keep the twins out of harms way. Opening the latch takes both my hands sometimes. Only draw back from the purchase was the delivery time since I paid extra for shipping to the house. Use site to store options as the time frame was about the same. At least for me.

We are using this gate to keep our dogs out of the main body of our house while we are trying to sell, it works as advertised. The installation was very easy, although the directions are kind of weak. Once installed, the gate is easy to use and free from defects. I am not sure how long the wood materials will hold my 3 black labs weighting 80 lbs each from busting the gate and going through, but this gate is strong enough for kids and so far has kept the dogs at bay. This was a great buy for us and I highly recommend this gate!

A great gate and extra long to fit our deck opening. We use it to keep our dogs off of deck. Works great! The price was a lot lower than other gates and it also folds back when not in use. My husband had it up in a few minutes and he isn't handy with a screwdriver. I gave it five stars..

We purchased this gate because we have 2 children in our home who are just over 1 year. The opening to our kitchen and dining room from our living room is extremely wide and once the children were mobile we couldn't keep them out. This Gate has worked perfectly for us, it wasn't to expensive, very easy to put up and the children aren't able to get through. The latch is the only issue with the gate, but I really wouldn't call it an issue, its just not easy to open or close one handed. So, I really wouldn't call it a problem at all it means it is difficult for the children to get through.
