Google Nest Learning Thermostat- 3rd Generation- Mirror Black

Had it a little over a fortnight now and I still can't see why they call it learning? Doesn't live up to my expectations as a smart learning thermostat as I have to instruct it to heat my home, also had to set up several routines in Google Home App for when I leave and arrive home. My home app is shared with my wife and she arrives home from work before I do each day and the heating only comes on as she's unlocking the front door, thought it would pre heat for a set period before she gets home! You can program schedules on the NEST app but then that was no different to setting scheduled times on my old thermostat! Plus points are that once you've registered your NEST accounts and added your family circle it is easy to use and you can plug and place it anywhere in your home with WIFI coverage. Is it worth the expense?... probably not but if you love tech and love the idea of controlling your heating from anywhere with your smart then you'll love it.

My house didn't have a thermostat, just radiator valves and as such, constantly having to turn the heating on and off manually was a chore. With Nest, all that is gone and the system takes care of itself with very little input from us. What a great piece of kit!

After using Hive for a year and getting ready to replace it with a standard thermostat, the Nest came recommended as part of a new boiler install. It is so much more responsive than the Hive. The eco function does save money and the learning mode is keeping our house at a comfortable and clearly saving energy.

Really happy with my Nest Thermostat which I bought a year or so ago. It looks great in our home and works exactly how I want it to, I love the support it has for Google Home & Alexa and how easy it is for my elderly mother to use. I'd recommend Nest to anyone.

We had a wireless thermostat before but the temperature differential was to great so either to hot or to cold constantly adjusting it. This nest thermostat is absolutely brilliant it controls the temperature within half a degree so works great. We must be saving loads even switches to eco when we go out and looks great.
