My husband and I are always looking for a good dark roast, so when we saw this one, we ordered it. While it has a good flavor, it is nowhere close to a dark roast in fullness. It is smooth, but rides more like a medium roast at best. I think if you made it on a 6 ounce cup you could get by, but on the medium cup, which is 8 ounces, it fell short for us. If you like black coffee, it could also work, but it does not have the body to withstand any cream or sugar. Disappointing for us and we will not be buying it again.
