Affordable substitute works pretty decent. As far as the mixing goes you just have to know how to mix it it makes it very easy just like regular collagen. Have the water already in the cup whisk with a fork as you add in sprinkle in collagen,if not done this way it will get clumpy. As long as you just keep whisking with the fork and add a little at a time it mixes up within 30 seconds. If you let it sit after mix it will turn clear

I do not know if this works yet, I just bought it at my local Walmart. I gave it one star for misleading packaging. This is NOT odorless. There is a slight taste to it. If you were fooled into buying this, use it in a smoothie or something with a stronger taste. It does not fully dissolve in room temperature water. There are clumps left floating. I will be looking for a different brand.

This is not easy to mix. It is too powdery and stays on top of liquid (black coffee). I also tried adding to cup prior to pouring in liquid and it floated to the stop. I will go back to purchasing my former brand, even though it costs more money. I need convenience and shouldn't need to break out the blender to mix this. Also, this is 10 times the sodium.

I've been using this collagen for 3 weeks now and I've already noticed my hair getting longer and thicker, my skin is clearer, my nails are growing faster than usual and the aches and pains I have in my joints are getting less and less. I have thin hair and brittle nails that don't grow very fast so this I a sure sign that is working. I love everything about this product except that it does have a little odd taste and doesn't mix 100% sometimes. I use it in my coffee so that helps to avoid those problems but I think it would be hard to mix in a cold drink if it wasn't blended. Definitely give this one a shot.

I absolutely love this product! Before I started using Pure Collagen I had back pain and skin issues. Since I've been using this product my pain has diminished and my skin feel tight and youthful. I will defiantly use this product for the rest of my life!
