Haier ESA3125 - Air conditioner

Product took a little bit longer than expected to get to the store. Once it did make it, when i opened the box to install the unit, it had been dropped on the bottom. Broke the mounts to the front. Walmart was good about replacing the unit. The Haier Air Conditioner works great so far.

I was very disappointed with this product. We ordered it online with site to store shipping. When we picked it up and carried it up 2 flights of steps, we read the instructions and it stated we needed to take the outter covering off and screw in the window channel. Which was a lot of work. Then after putting it back together and getting it set in the window it ran but wouldn't cool. We took it back to Walmart and got a replacement. That one did cool the whole upstairs which is about 1050 sq ft. But it sure was a pain in the long run. My advice, you get what you pay for. We had to learn the hard way.

After reading the reviews on this site, I decided to buy. I'm glad I did. The blower is awesome. All A/C's need to be able to blow air this well. And it cools very well. Today it hit 101 and high humidity and it's cooling my small house very nicely in Kansas City. My unit made weird noises at first, then realized I had mine tilted too far back. Corrected, and it's perfectly fine now. Customer rep at the store did give me good advice about funny noises and he was right on. I wonder about the negative reviews here: sounds like most of the negatives are due to damage during shipping (an exchange should correct this), and one just didn't want to install it right. I highly recommend this A/C. If you get one that may have been damaged in shipping, just exchange it at the store. You won't be disappointed when you have one working good.

Bought online, shipped to store. Unpacked and found front cover broken where screw goes in. Filter has a Quarter size hole in it and plastic filter housing is broken at most seams. Went ahead and installed the unit..not as easy as most. Fan knocked really loud after first install. Long story short, the knock was caused by the outer part of the fan rubbing the shell. I put a piece of 80 grit sandpaper between the fan and shell and turned the fan by hand untill it removed the rubbing sections. All seems to work great now, but do you really want to go through all of this on a new ac? This is the first day of ownership..I'm not feeling too lucky.

It is very nice and cold and runs great and very quiet we have it in our wall. It comes with a remote which is really nice i woudl recommend this to anyone.
