Haier HWS08XH7 Through-the-wall Air Conditioner

I, purchase this unit 1/2010 and the unit did fine for about four hours after that it started to freeze up.i checked out the manual and it stated to turn the fan on to defrost the ice. well that worked for about 15 mins. i called the company and they stated that they would send me another unit. the unit took almost 2 weeks when it arrived i installed the unit, after that it did fine for about 8 hours then it started to freeze up again same as the first unit now i'am waiting to talk with the trouble shooting department. i just hope summer dont get her before i see what the unit can do in the winter.

We purchased two of these and they do not work. We had previously purchased a Frigidaire that works wonderfully. This one freezes up after running only a few minutes. DO NOT BUY!

The air part works great, the heater part doesn't. It uses a return air valve for the heat not heat strips. So it freezes up when it is really cold outside. Had to purchase a room heater for the room.

I am trying to get at least 2 more .It has been out of stock for a while now . please try to get this Item back , It IS priced right and works great.

Since receiving, I have not been able to check the heating aspect as the temperature has not been below 70 degrees here and was approx. 100 when installed. The A/C part works supurbly.
