Hamilton Beach Tl-1-5w Top Loading Water

It lasted 3 years then got a leak inside the case near the tank and nearly caused a fire. It only has one spot for both hot and cold water to come from and the cold water wasn't very cold. The unit would constantly go from cooling the cold water to heating the hot water. I figured this was using a lot of electricity so I turned off the hot water feature and just used it for cold water. The cold water was indeed colder and the cooling kicked on less often. The storage on the bottom is not cooled just for storage of room temperature items. I knew it wasn't cooled when I bought it thinking it was an exciting feature but I ended up never using it. It became a hazard as it made the kids want to play with it and hide there toys. This unit is very top heavy. I live in an apartment and am not suppose to anchor things to the wall but it the idea of this tipping over became too real and so I ended up anchoring it to the wall anyway. There are better units out there and there are worse.

Totall disappointment . Doesn't cool of water c old enough . Bottom storage isn't a refrigerator and it's always hot inside so no way you goin to keep food or drink there . Water cooler turns on every 10- 15 minutes depending on how often you use it and it's louder than my actual fridge . Hot water and cold water run from the same tube so if you use hot water and right after cold water isn't really cold since it runs thru one tube. Basically Totall garbage

A tad expensive to make all the racket that it does....sounds like our refrigerator. Wish I would bottom bottle water cooler instead.

as soon as i plugged it in it had an odd odor when it ran,like plastic.cooling component seemed to kick on with every glass of water we poured from it.after 3 days it completely stopped cooling the water.returned.
