Hanes Men's Ultimate ComfortSoft V-Neck Undershirt, 3-Pack

I love cotton, I DO - but, while there was NO MENTION whatsoever - this material, cotton, is TREATED with an antibacterial chemical known to cause cancer...to keep ODOR down. Excuse me but when my clothes get stinky, I have a washing machine for this problem. It's worked for a long time now without additional chemicals. I had passed by MANY tee shirts (they're always cheaper when they're treated with the poison, hmm...wonder why?) and thought I had a winner here. No, I was tricked again. This is just shameful. Is there no just plain ole cotton out there? And if not, for goodness sakes, REVEAL that it's got this chemical toxin in it in the product information, so I can make up my own mind. (Disgusted with Hanes and I've ALWAYS loved them. This is the last straw {after several thumbs down crappy women's panties, by the way) (Two stars. because the shirts seemed to be okay - but we're tossing them, due to toxins)

I like buying good undershirts and wearing them for years and years, so I don't mind spending a little more money for good quality. These are great and are very comfortable. I don't think that WalMart stocks these, but I was able to order them from WalMart and they were shipped from the Hanes factory.

I bought 5 packs of white undershirts - as I have for the past years. After one wear each, I washed and dried as per usual. After the drying, ALL shirts shrunk at least one size leaving me with no useable shirts. Whatever changed in the fabric caused the shirts to shrink. They should do some basic quality checks before sending to the public - like drying shirts in a dryer

I was hoping to find V-neck tees in XL tall but Hanes only makes tall in crew shirts. If they won't make tall in V-necks they should consider preshrinking their cotton before making their shirts. The shirts fit fine out of the bag but after a few washes they start to shorten and creep up over the belt line.

I love how comfortable these shirts are and was not disappointed when I washed them. Excellent quality. I am going to continue ordering them from your website because the price is much cheaper, the shipping is fast and I don't have to worry about never finding the size I need.
