I have the original hatch Rest that I passed on to my youngest daughter and I thought I would upgrade my older daughter's to the Rest+. I don't like it. Much less user friendly. Doesn't have the buttons to adjust noise/light when in a pinch. Hard to keep connected to internet. Doesn't have a power off button if it gets turned on during the day. Wish I would have gotten another original hatch rest, which I love!

This is my 3rd Hatch sound machine & I've really enjoyed the baby monitor feature of the Rest+! However, I frequently have issues with the Rest+ where it says it is not connecting and you have to go in and hold down the buttons of the Rest+ and reset it/reconnect with your phone. This has been hard when my toddler is already laying down for nap & then I have to come in to do that.

I expected it to be bright enough to change the baby but it is not really. The app is really bad. You can only use it for a short window of time before you have to close it completely and re sync it to have it connect again. Even though the app will show it was turned off or changed, nothing changes on the unit itself. I do appreciate the audio monitor function from my phone. And it does stay on all night (we were using the children's echo dot before this and it would turn off sometimes)

The idea is great but my kids don't follow it. They still get up and pay no attention to what color the light is. We've tried rewards when they follow the sleep/wake program and colors but they still go to bed late and get up in the middle of the night getting in our bed. I would have liked some suggestions on what works with others and how to get them to follow this. The sound maker is nice and very loud.

I like that you can control it by your phone and the range of colors you can choose from, but there are some features I would change. I would be happier if you could use the WiFi to connect your devices and play your own music. Also, the one I received was defective and won't hold a charge, it only charges halfway and since it was a gift it isn't that convenient to return.
