Follow the prompts on screen to setup and connect. No subscription to pay for controlling your new Honeywell wift thermostat. I tried the Amazon version returned confusing and difficult to hookup.

I am impressed with my wifi smart color thermostat. Its user-friendly interface makes programming simple. I have not had any programming or connectivity (in home or remotely)issues with this thermostat. More importantly, it is not battery powered. It delivers as advertised.

Wasn't sure what to purchase then I remembered Honeywell has been in the thermostat business for so many years. A trusted company with much experience and a reputation to back them up. Easy installation wifi works great. I highly recommend this product.

This is a very nice thermostat as it was easy to install (replaced an old Nest thermostat),easy to set up a schedule and offers choices of display colors and brightness. After installation and configuration, performance has been excellent. It maintains the set point within a degree and recovers from the occasional power outages we have here without intervention. I recommend considering this option for replacement and new construction.

I have two thermostats for my two heat phmos in my house. One for the upstairs unit and one for main floor. After returning from a two week vacation we noticed that our main floor was very hot. If this was in the winter it would have been fine, but this was during a heat wave. My upstairs was cooling fine. My heat pump units are only 2 years old, and I figured “oh great, how much now!?” I did some quick troubleshooting of the outside unit and could not find any issue. So I then swapped the two thermostats and found that my main floor thermostat had a battery that leaked out and corroded the circuit board. When I put the upstairs thermostat on main fliir everything worked, so I figured it was time for a bew thermostat. I was impressed with the silver smart wi-fi thermostat. I liked the idea of not only being able to control my thermostat from my phone but also being able to allow AEP to modify my settings and provide me with rebates in the summer. I decided to buy two of these units because I wanted the upstairs and downstairs uints to look alike. Installation was very easy, I simply reconnected the existing wires to the new wire block, repainted the surrounding area (these units are smaller then the old ones) and snapped the new control units into the wire block. Programming and connected to my home wi-fi was easy. I like that I could customize the color of the screen. Needless to say, these units are working great, my ac works again and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade thier existing thermostats, or just add a connected home to your phone!
