This coffee comes from a small farm called La Amistad which also conserves a 40,000+ acre primary rainforest conservation area. Roberto Montero, the owner, has known Jim for over 15 years. Jim was struck during his most recent visit not just that he and Roberto have a shared vision on how this coffee should be roasted (light city), but also that Roberto Really uses the farm to continue to preserve the larger conservation area.
