[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like this ground coffee, because I like Starbucks and I love caramel. However, I was deeply disappointed with the aroma and the flavor. It's too harsh of a flavor, almost acrid. Like burnt tasting. And the aroma, I know there is a smoke component in it, but I was hoping there would be some sort of caramel scent and nothing. I did like that it was a dark roast and the packaging is nice, but it's just not my style. #ad #freesample

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the chance to try the Starbucks French Roast as a #freesample and it was absolutely delicious. It is one of the best French roast coffees that I have tried in a ground form. You can taste all of the notes of caramel and smoke, and you can just tell that the coffee is sourced from wonderful coffee beans. I think of the different Starbucks ground coffees that I've tried in the past this one is definitely my favorite. It had been a while since I had purchased this one and when I drank it again, I was kind of disappointed with myself that it had been such a while since I've had it because it's just so good. And I'm someone that adds creamer to their coffee and even with the creamer, you still can taste the bold and richness of the coffee and that's another reason why I love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very tasty I rather enjoyed it not something I particularly would buy to have at home it was just a little too much of dark it was too rich that was all it was just a little too rich for me it was good but it was just too rich for me like I enjoy something a little later than that flavored maybe caramel or something

It is bold, but not overpowering. It's smooth with a slightly sweet back note. Not like flavored or chemical sweet. It just leaves a great taste behind. No bitterness, no heaviness. I already have another bag in my shopping cart.
