Jool Baby Magnetic Safety Lock Kit for Childproofing, White, 12 Piece with 2 Keys

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My grandson is just starting to explore and of course our home hasn't been baby proofed in 30 years so I was excited to see the latest innovation in safety products. The JOOL magnetic cabinet locks are super easy to install with detailed instructions and the included install tool-just pop the latch in, peel the backing, press, remove tool and move onto the next one. My oak cabinets have been painted with chalk paint and waxed, no problems with the 3M adhesive securely sticking. The latch itself is completely hidden when doors are shut, and really does stay locked if pulled on without using the cute strong magnet to unlock first-and the magnet stays high up on my fridge(didn't need the included adhesive holder), out of reach but easily accessible to those of us that need in the cabinet. Super easy peasy to unlock with a quick swipe of the magnet, and my favorite part is that the locking mechanism can be disabled with a flick of my finger when little man isn't here...keeps the big man from throwing fits lol. I've had them installed a couple of weeks and I don't see any problem with adhesion or compromise of the lock mechanism. My mind is at ease knowing chemicals and dangerous for the little guy items are tucked away securely -very highly recommended the JOOL Baby magnetic cabinet locks

They are so simple to put on and they are a very strong magnet. I had to issues with my crazy little man child pulling on the knobs after I installed this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cabinet locks are very useful to keep little hands out of places where they don't need to be, but as they get bigger, these magnets no longer stop a willing and determined child. They are easy to install and discreet behind the door/cabinet so you won't see them on the outside.
