[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Kitchen aid as a early Mother's Day present for myself. I love it. The only thing that I didn't not like is the shield is bent and I am unable to use it. I think the shield needs a readjustment.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried to submit this review with a 1 rating, and the website would not let me. Seems pretty crooked to me!This machine is not what it claims to be! The motor is not strong - when using the dough hook the motor would slow down, speed up, slow to almost stop, then speed up again, etc, etc. The beaters do not reach anywhere near the bottom of the bowl, so ingredients do not get mixed much. With the lift-stand, the beaters cannot be removed without dunking in the ingredients; very inconvenient. It is taller than most mixers and may not fit under your cabinets.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned a KitchenAid mixer for many years. The performance is great; however, the last mixer I purchased approximately three years ago was a Pro 600 series. This stopped working. There are no local vendors that will do repairs thus I had to purchase another Pro 600. It is very disappointing that a KitchenAid mixer only lasted three years. I do hope this recent purchase does not fall into the same situation.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as a gift to replace my seriously old mixer that was starting to have issues when making double batches of cookies. I was so excited to pull the mixer out and start making more cookies! Sadly it made the most horrifying noise when I tried to use it. Contacted the customer service and they were awesome, they agreed it was bad and sent me a new one. New one is good, it doesn't make scary noises, but it doesn't feel as great of quality as my old kitchen aid. The bowl is still large but doesn't seem as heavy a gauge of stainless steel. The mixer is lighter than my old one which is nice, and I love that it came with a shield as well. I would still buy this again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded my mixer to this one and I am so amazed. I use it at least 3 times a week. It is so powerful, the mixing time is cut by at least 25%, has enough power to kneed several batches of bread dough. Just be careful when you start this up, it starts slow, but I was shocked at how quickly it comes up to speed. First time I used it, I got covered in flour. LOL....but it was most certainly one of the best purchases for my kitchen.
