Made for small rooms and does an outstanding job. This is my third purchase (I've worn the other two out) over 12 years. They don't use a lot of energy, so no circuit breakers tripping. And by drawing the cool air from the top and blowing warm air out the bottom, it creates great circulation in the room.

I brought 4 heater in 2007, 2 heater cords caught on fire, on stopped (another brand) but this lasko is still working and working strong. We are having a bout of cold weather and we just purchased a home and it's larger but I tell you this little heater is really keeping every room we put it in warm so I was looking for another heater and I tell you I was so happy to see they are still carrying the same heater hallelujah!!! Now I can get one for the bedroom (to keep peace) because my husband has made our den is man cave and it is a large room so he has just took over the heater and to keep peace lol I am getting another. Love, love love it. Oh for 3 years I didn't know about how the heater shut off worked but apparently he did and I thought it had a shortage but you just turn it off and unplug it for about 10 minutes then replug it up and turn it on and it works great, this is apart of the overheating and tipping setting great heater and it gets toasted in the bedroom. Now I want have to come and get things started by taking over the man cave. Thank you

This Lasko heater is the best. It has a thermostat control, so as to not run constantly if you don't turn it off. My fav about this heater is, it blows toward the floor, warming the room from floor up. (great for drying snow covered shoes and gloves) Have been using one o these for several years now. Just bought two more. I run mine pretty continuously and has lasted for couple of years. Can't complain for the price. also very safe for kids and pets.
