All kids want a phone like adults and this gives them that learning tool to enhance their imagination. Each button gives them a different sound or teaching tool, and they can just play as if they have their own cell phone. Good item.
This top keeps my granddaughter for a few minutes at a time, I can put it her bag and pull it out when needed. The bottons are easy for her to use and the sounds are soft and entertaining.
I thought my grandson would be more excited to have his own cell phone, but he doesn't seem interested in it. There is nothing wrong with this item, I think it is so adorable, but it doesn't really interest the baby.
Purchased as a Christmas gift for a 1 year old little boy, and he LOVES it!!! He was so excited he got it that he waited for his dad to get it out the package so he could play with it, constantly staring at the toy until he got it, Lol. And, once he got it he couldn't get enough of it, and he hardly put it down. Also, his mom gave it to him so he could keep still while she changed his diaper, and he did (which is something he never does, Lol). The little toy phone works great! It's loud enough so he can hear, easy to push the buttons, and has a lot of different colors that light up once you push the button. Would totally recommend.
Let me preface by saying... I have two boys two years apart and both of their birthdays are in the same month... so needless to say we purchase a lot of "doubles". I bought them each one of these for their birthday (ages 3 and 1). Things I immediately liked about the product: the two different volume settings (not annoyingly loud like a lot of toys) The cute sounds And the pleasantness of the persons voice (not choppy or fake sounding) The durable construction Reasons it didn't get five stars: There isn't really a realistic calling option and the display/graphics aren't that great (but they are decent considering the price) Both of my boys were entertained and liked them. I keep them in the car and take them in to restaurants. Note: all of the numbers have puppy related actions/sayings because the dog's name is Scout. So if your little one likes puppies and play phones this is really a winner.
