I would recommend the word whammer to anyone with young children. I have a hard time trying to find ways to get my 4 yr. old son excited to learn and I'm hoping that this will help. My 19 month old however doesn't give him much of a chance to play with it because he loves it so much. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because sometimes it reads the letter wrong.

I think this is a fantastic toy and starts out with only 3 letters, plus they are magnetic, so they stick to the refrigerator. I think my granddaughter can grow with this big time!!

My then 2-year-old daughter received this as a Christmas gift. She is now 5 and still using the word whammer. I still keep it on my fridge as my nephews enjoy playing with it. Its a great educational toy and very durable.

This is a great learning toy. I bought one for my 5 year old to learn her letters and then purchased a second one for my 3 year old. I love that it can be stuck on the fridge. Keeps the letters from getting lost. I am very pleased with this item.
