LifeProof - FrĒ Protective Water-resistant Case for Apple® iPhone® 7, 8 and SE (2nd generation) - Night Lite

Bought this to replace an older case when I upgraded my phone. Purchased this case for everyday use but want the durability and weather protection when responding on mountain SAR calls. The Fre case (including earlier versions) has served this function well.

I bought this case recently, to replace one that was the same type but in a different color. I gave the new one 5 stars, because I really love it. I JUST HOPE THAT IT WILL LAST LONGER THAN ITS IDENTICAL PREDECESSOR, WHICH LASTED LESS THAN A YEAR! Assuming this new one is of the usual fine LifeProof quality, I already know it looks great, and I hope it will be as protective as my old ones have been. I think I became a LifeProof customer almost 10 years ago.

I've had I Phones since they came out — and always a LifeProof Fre case. The case has protected my phone several times when it's fallen facedown on concrete—never cracked glass! It continues to be the lightest and thinnest case I can find on the market and worth the money! Easy to carry in my pocket.

The case has lived up to what they claim so far. I have been to the beach and I am Frequently at the pool with my phone. I have had water splashed on it with no problem. I do try to keep a hold on it so no immersion yet. The touch ID has worked much better than my previous one, which has been a relief. The only issue I have is, that sometimes it is hard to hear. That could just be my age not sure. For peace of mind it is great.

My previous life proof case endured kids chewing, baths in stock waterer for horses, swims in the bathtub and many drops and kids throws. My phone is still mint condition and just had to purchase a new case due to wear and tear on first one. I refuse to use any other case then life proof for my phone.
