it came broken
The heater is very inconsistent. It doesn't heat at a steady rate. It shuts off for long periods of time even when it's freezing. I purchased a similar product a couple months ago for my home that was only $20 more dollars and it is far superior. Don't go cheap…spend a little more and be satisfied.
The item was not what it seem to be really did not work well for me. the cost was over priced for the item and you can not return it to Walmart at all had to do a lot of running to return it and the website did not inform you of the fact just because its sold by Walmart doesn't mean uou can return it there so be careful
I have had an infrared heater before and prefer it over a regular electric heater as the infrared heater does not dry out the air and make the skin itchy. Lots of heat output, quiet, and it looks very very nice! This little heater had no problem bringing that corner of the house back up to temp. Very fast to heat up which saves on the electricity bill too. This heater is nearly silent as it works. We have it in a living room right near the TV, and you can barely hear it. I highly recommend this heater. It's reasonably priced and easy to set up. No assembly is required.
Extremely pleased with Lifesmart's Tower Heater. First impression was the sleek, attractive look. Approximately 9.5"x10.5 and 24" high. It takes up little space the size and design is attractive and easy to place in any room. It looks like a very nice little accent table when not in use. It's a dark wood grain color. The function on this heater is incredible. Remote control is fully functional and requires 2 AAA batteries (not included). You can do so much with this, and to name a few; heat adjustment, temperature, timer, and oscillation. It warms quickly, operation is quiet, and there was no new burn off smell. Once you shut it off, it cools for about 30 seconds before it powers off. I highly recommend this heater for supplemental heat in a package that is both functional and attractive.
