Please, please, please tell me where i can find the mint, WOVEN, floss? It is/was the best floss on the market. I got my non-flossing husband and friends to use it. It is perfect. For people with overcrowded teeth, this is great because you can pull the floss super tight to get it between the teeth without pain, then loosen the floss once it is at the gum line to clean gently. No other floss compares. The mint flavor was mild, and worked great. A LOT of people have mouth sensitivity to cinnamon as it burns, especially around sensitive gums. Please bring back the mint floss. Also, I found a competitor now selling something similar, which I would get since I can't find this brand; however, they use carnauba wax on theirs. I have an allergy to carnauba wax, plus, I HATE waxed floss. So, that's not an option for me. I need the mint woven floss!
I used this product in the past and really loved it because the fluoride helped with my sensitivity. I have a bridge and the woven floss really cleaned under it very well. Since my mouth is a little on the dry side, the cinnamon is too harsh and burns. Please consider bringing back the mint flavor impregnated with fluoride. For people who don't have any dryness or sensitivity, I would recommend the cinnamon flavored, but for those of us with a dry mouth, I would not.
I love the woven gentle gum care floss, but I can't use this! My lips started swelling and then the skin peeled around my lips. It took me several weeks to figure it out (I was on travel part of the time and my lips would heal up) and finally I realized it was this dental floss. More precisely, the Cinnamon. Please go back to making the Fluoride version instead of cinnamon! Otherwise, my hygienist recommends this for my gums and I really like the floss, but unfortunately I have to use something else. However, my husband loves the fact he gets all my packages of this. As I read in another review, why does dental floss have to be flavored with anything?? My recommendation of this product is for people who aren't allergic to cinnamon (I never was until a few weeks ago!)
My girl friend that lives in Costa Rica is a faithful flosser and swears by the Reach Total Care. I read up on it and found that it was replaced by Ultra Clean. So I went out in search of the Ultra Clean product. After several drug stores and no success I gave up and thought I'd just order online. I stopped at the grocery store and found the gentle gum care, Mint floss. I was eager to use it so after putting the groceries away I gave flossing a try with my new product. Results are it did a good job on the cleaning but the Cinnamon flavoring is over powering and has left a sticky coating on my teeth. I will continue to use this until gone but will switch to the Ultra Clean. I may have to order it but it may be worth the wait.
Due to a connective tissue genetic disorder, my teeth always manage to migrate (even after a crown was put on and was made to fit tight w zero gaps). So all my back teeth have these gaps that get giant pieces of meat stuck painfully into my gums and the only floss that is "poofy" enough to efficiently swipe the meat out w one go is this gum care floss. When it was Reach, it used to come in mint and now the only one that exists is mint cinnamon. The cinnamon irritates my gums but I guess I'll live w that because it's better that meat jammed below my gum line for multiple days trying to fish it out w regular floss. I hope they keep this gentle gum care line and possibly consider a version without cinnamon. If two flavors aren't possible, would it hurt to remove the cinnamon from this one? Especially using this on sensitive gums, it kinda hurts. But that aside, it works awesome for back teeth w gaps! I absolutely love it!
