Lockly - Secure Plus Smart Lock Bluetooth Replacement Latch with Touchscreen/Fingerprint Sensor/Key Access/Auto Lock - Satin Nickel

We bought a Secure Plus when it first came out with the WiFi option. It was pretty good, but the children had issues with the finger sensor. The door sensor was a bit bulky and requires a AAA battery to be changed out occasionally. The front panel went out about three years in. I bought a new Secure Plus, and i have to say it has better functionality. The fingerprint reader has drastically improved and has been tested using children's fingerprints. The bolt mechanism is quieter and faster, possibly using less battery draw. A new door sensor connects directly to the base, doesn't require a battery, and blends in well with the door. The installation was easy. The app detected the new Lockly and connected to the WiFi and sensor without an issue. The firmware update was still a bit slow, but it went smoothly. Of course, I couldn't transfer my fingerprints, but re-adding them was simple and seemed easier than before. Overall, this was a good investment, and I am looking forward to years of use. I suggest this product over the competition as it has been quite stable and never stopped working.

Awesome lock, especially when using fingerprint… quick easy access to unlock. Also giving one day access to someone to come into the home to feed your birds, when away for the weekend or even opening the door remotely. It's a excellent luck in my opinion.

The lock itself is great; however it will not hold up well in a hot and humid climate like Florida in a home or condo environment if the temp is really cold inside (70 or less) and hot/humid outside (>90 w/high humidity). The outside elements transfers through the bore hole which causes high condensation within the inside portion of the lock which will ultimately render the lock useless because the inside is shorted via condensation. I have had to replace 3 locks at the same location. I ended up installing one lock at home where the inside temp is 74 year round, and never had issues. A fix, which I have passed onto Lockly, was to provide two donut insulators for each side of the hole. So far it has insulated the inside from outside and no more issues. Overall, I highly recommend this lock, and hope the company considers my recommendation. It is very easy to administer remotely.

I did my research, talked to my locksmith and chose the LOCKLY secure plus latch (left fingerprint reader). I also bought the plate to cover the deadbolt. I will eventually buy the Duo which does both latch and deadbolt at the same time and move this one to my office door. Installation was a little odd because both the cover plate and actual lock had instructions. If you buy the plate as well use the plate instructions. It works great using the codes. Everyone in the house has no trouble with the fingerprint reader but it doesn't seem to like my prints. I find after a few attempts I give up and just use the pin pad. I highly recommend it and have to friends who come over and see it. Only thing negative thing for my application is that the storm door uses a latch as well and when turning the storm door latch down it strikes the LOCKLY. Just have to rotate it up. Problem solved.

I operate a addiction recovery home and this thing has seen a ton of use over the last 2 years. It gets used about 30 or more times a day and it has worked without any major issues. My one issue would be the fingerprint reader was difficult to use in the beginning. In saying that Lockly has pushed updates to resolve the issue. Their customer support is beyond excellent and very knowledgeable. I would purchase more of these in the future if the situation arises that I need them, as it looks these will be lasting for years to come!
