Magic Chef Water Dispenser Top Loading Hot & Cold Cooler, MCWD30TS Stainless Steel

This water dispenser has been so nice for the entire family. We all drink more water now because it's good, clean water! It was very easy to put together. Now we can easily refill our water jug at the store when needed. We all love that the water is cold, which is so nice when you are thirsty! You can get hot water fast too which is great for making tea or hot chocolate. The design is slim and doesn't take up too much space. It's very nice and something we all are enjoying!

I like this dispenser but we followed the setup instructions exactly and the water tasted terrible! It took gallons of water and baking soda, per manual, to remove the taste. It tasted like chemicals which makes me nervous about using the dispenser. I purchased because i I thought it was safe but I have my doubts. With it being BPA free and having a stainless steel tank I thought it would be safe. the  packaging has the prop 65 warning. I guess it's not so safe

I received this in the mail as part of a brand collaboration. And was super excited to give it a try right away!!! The Newair Magic Chef Top Loading Water Dispenser, Hot and Cold Water comes fully assembled all you need is to do is plug it to the electricity, turn switches ON for the cold and hot water and get the water bottle ready to install. The unit will take a couple of minutes to get fully operative until water reach the temperature set. The Newair Magic Chef Top Loading Water Dispenser, will surely came in time to save us money since my teen is now all about drinking water and water only. And also perfect to reduce our carbon footprint and in some way start helping our environment. Also is important to share that the cooler has BPA-free parts also means we are drinking water that is safe & healthy. As a family with a toddler another feature that we love is the child safety lock on the hot tap, making this dispenser perfect for family of any size.

I had no idea that I would love this water dispenser so much. I try to do my best to drink water everyday but it usually slips my mind and I really only like cold water. If we don't have ice, I won't drink it, which is silly but true. My grandmother wanted a water dispenser and she swore by it once she had it so I thought it might be time to have one in our home too. Much to my surprise, we go through more than 5 gallons a week, as a family of 5. With me and my husband working out and the warmer weather upon us, we are just drinking this water up! This dispenser is easy to assemble and I found it to be cheaper than other versions out there. When it arrived we took it out of the box and had it set up with the top loading water bottle and it gave us cold water a short while later. I'm not sure exactly how long it took to get to it's coldest but we had cold water about 5 minutes after we set it up. We haven't used the hot water because of the season and I don't want the electric bill to be high but it's a good addition for our family because I like coffee during the winter and the easy accessibility will be helpful when we turn that setting on. One of the features I wish it had was some kind of lock so little hands wouldn't play with it. That's the only issue we've had with the dispenser, little kids want to play with water all the time. So to do a 180 on that, I do like that they can grab their own water when they actually need it. It's helped make them a bit more independent and they really enjoy that little job of theirs. I think maybe sometimes out electric bill might be higher and maybe this was a splurge but honestly, it's helped us to drink water so much more that it's kind of worth the cost of electricity and buying water every week. I really like this dispenser and I think for the long term it's a healthy investment for our family.

I set this up in my Mother's home. She is in her early '70's and is LOVING it! She drinks cold water throughout the day, so not having to mess with a heavy water pitcher and ice cubes, etc, is a real convenience for her. Also, she loves her morning tea and told me this morning that one of the best features is that she can have piping hot water right into her cup without the hassles of the kettle or burning herself on the stove if she had to boil it there. She also loves the esthetic of the appliance (the stainless steel)!. I'm so happy that she is loving it, I'm thinking I need to order another for myself now!
