Mainstays Media Tower - Black

We purchased this product and assembled it as instructed. It was bought to hold our DVD's and it could not hold them. It claims to hold 128 DVD's and we could not get more than 50 on the shelves because the hole spacing does not allow for proper shelf adjustment. I do not recommend this to anyone who wants it for DVD's, it might be okay for CD's because they do not require a lot of height to be stored. Poor product which was mislabeled, and I will be returning mine today.

It is much smaller than I had hoped, but then again it was just over 25 bucks. I use it in my child's room, for games and cd's... it has enough room to hold small books, a few toys, a few pictures with frames, and a piggy bank. I would reccommend this product for people who need to hold a lot or DVD's or CD's, but don't have a lot of room. or of you need to hold small books, a few toys and couple of pictures with frames and a piggy bank... :)

These shelves went together rather easily, and because they are black they hide any defects rather well. They seem sturdy enough, but are really not high quality. The shelves themselves are not as large as the picture makes them appear, but they store a lot of media. I was surprised that all of my over flowing media disk all stored on these shelves with more room to add more. Once filled they are attractive, and once again with all of the disk I in place they also hide any defects. They are not perfect, but for my spare bed room where I have my Big Screen TV they are perfect. Also, I now have all my media stored right next to my TV.

It took forever using the Site to Store shipping. I prefer not to use this method again. As for the product, it was exactly as advertised. The assembly was fairly easy, applying the back was not so easy. The reason was that it came in two pieces and was pre-folded and very hard to get it to lay flat. I would still reccomend this product and plan to purchase another soon, but will PAY for the shipping to my home.

I bought 2 at least a year ago. I wanted it just for DVDs. They were very easy to put togther. The only downside is the fact that you can't stand all DVDs up. You will have to lay some down if you use all shelves. But I am planning on buying at least 2 more because I live in an apartment and big bulky shelves just won't do. Plus I have an extensive DVD collection. For the price it is a great product.
