Margaritaville Key West Frozen Concoction Maker with Easy Pour Jar and XL Ice Reservoir - Silver

I love making margaritas in this except for the clean up. The ice paddle is really difficult to remove. I deducted a star for that reason. We also make virgin drinks with Torani syrup, aguave syrup, and Sparkling water. Fruity torani syrups are really good for the alcoholic versions!

We've had a month or so and have been very pleased. While the extra accessories are nice we do not find ourselves using much other than the standard pitcher, though we have one occassion and they add to the deal. We went in the pretty modest expectations, but have no regrets and have recommended to the friends who've experienced and asked about. We tend to go the lazy route and use the mixers, but they have been great - the gradation and texture of the ice being the key. It takes a bit of practice to get the proportions just right but a real first world problem there. Once figured out it is quite easy. We definitely appreciate the larger ice reservoir over something smaller, if comparing. I rated a 4 because it is not perfect, but rightfully it is probably between 4 and 5. Our only complaint to date is my wife struggles to unscrew the ring with the blade on it, and I would agree it is a bit on the snug side and the lock button that holds it in place is very average, bordering on insufficient, especially if hands are even the slightest bit wet - and you are washing typically at that point so of course that is the case.

I bought this for my husband's birthday last month and we love it! Also bought the carrying case and the salt tub. The machine is easy to use and makes the perfect margaritas by following the recipe included, just like Margaritaville! We are very happy with it and have been enjoying it immensely!

I was skeptical about how fine it would actually shave the ice and blend for drinks, but after using it several times it is better than most any bar frozen drink u will buy. We just visited Maui and had an $18 Pina, and at the bottom of the glass was 5 chunks of ice. Not w this baby! I am very pleased w the finial product but just know it is a large appliance!

I bought this machine about a month ago. It works great, love the large ice reservoir & the Easy Pour Jar lid as compare to the bahama style maker which I have owned for about 6 years and is used every weekend all summer at camp. It still works great! However I am disappointed in the toggle switches used on Key West style as opposed to the button on the bahama style. It's almost like they went back in time. I also wish I could buy extra easy pour lids, will these ever be available to purchase separately?
