Medallion Bedspread, Cream

Very pleased with the product. I needed a spread that came to the floor to cover up under bed storage items. I order one size larger than my bed and it worked. I like spreads rather than dealing with bed skirts etc. There are lint issues especially when wearing certain fabrics in a black color. Th ere are lint issues but this is true with all chenille products just launder it.

I needed something I can launder every week because of dust mite allergies and this was a pleasant surprise. I had ordered something similar from JCPenney and it was so ugly and cheap looking I took it back so I didn't know what to expect with this. This is very good quality, has a pretty chenille pattern, and since it's machine wash and dry, very easy to take care of for a wonderful price. Light enough for summer yet heavy enough to put a blanket over for winter. Only thing to be aware of is the first few times you dry it, be prepared to clean the lint trap many times...about every 20 minutes or so. Thanks WM!

I really like these bedspreads -- got two for one of my guest rooms and now when I need two more for my other guest room they are out of stock!! OH NO! I hope that they are back in stock soon as I really want to continue the same look in both guest rooms.

I had the bedspread shipped to the store to keep it economical (free shipping) When I opened the package in the car, it did appear "Cream" colored. Once at home against a taupe rug, however, the color did appear to have a bit of 'yellowish' undertones, but the color will work with the other colors in the room. From past experience with Chenille bedspreads, I knew I had to wash and dry it TWICE. Yes, the drier filled up with 'fuzz' twice. But, that's what chenille does the first couple of washings. Afterwards, it was soft and fluffy and ready to use. The width of the twin size bedspread is a bit skimpy. The top of my mattress is only 24 inches off the floor, but the bottom of the fringes are 6 inches from the floor on each side. A full size, however, would be way too wide. The fringe at the foot of the bed comes down to the floor, and I still have enough to tuck around my pillow, although another 2 inches would have been better on the length, as well. Fortunately, I have a bed skirt the same color as the bedspread. I thought I would remove it with the new bedspread, but since the fringes are short, I will leave it on. Also, one side of my bed is against a wall, so I will pull a bit more of the bedspread over to the side that is seen. I could take the wheels off the frame and lower the bed another inch. Or, raise the bed on blocks, and order the full size for my twin bed, but I think I'll stick with what I have. For $40, it beats anything else I saw out there, and I've been looking for months! Also, I already had a cream colored blanket and sheets to go underneath. A darker blanket would show through , making the overall color appear darker.

I was extremely surprised with the quality for the price. I have been looking for quiet awhile for a Chennile bedspread. I couldn't be happier. Thank you WalMart for keeping the price down.
