Good 'small' grill. I've looked at a lot of small grills and this one is the best I've found for a small space. We have a big gas grill but wanted something for our smaller seating area. It has a surprisingly large cooking area and gets plenty hot & cooks fairly evenly. The side handles are handy so it can be moved while it's hot--not all small grills have this. It is a light gauge steel so I don't know how long it will last but the price is so good, that's not much of a concern.

This BBQ grill doesn't cook well unless you are maybe cooking hot dogs or brats. The large surface doesn't heat evenly......Hot in the middle and cool around the edges. I bought this product because of the larger surface area and was disappointed. When I cooked hamburgers on the grill they flamed up constantly. All the holes in the side of the lid let in too much air and didn't smother the flames causing everything to burn, even when cooking on the lowest heat setting.

This grill is perfect! I can't believe what an exceptional job it does for the price. I am actually replacing my first one with the same grill. I've gotten really good use out of it for about a year and a half. It needs to be replaced b/c we it gets tossed around a lot in our boat and gas connector got bent and it is a real hassel to adjust the gas flow/temperature now. I also agree with the other reviews- it gets greasy but the extra grill rack is clutch.

I wasn't expecting such a well-engineered product at this price, was pleasantly surprised!. If you're a novice with tools, you may need help putting it together. After that, let the good times roll! Effortless start-up, consistent, responsive heat control, fast clean-up. Has upper rack for warming. You can't go wrong with this one, especially if you are cooking for a small group. If not, buy two or three! Conpact enough to store out of the way between your soiree's!

As another reviewer pointed out, this product lacks the heat needed to cook with the top open. I think it is the hybrid heat cover. Tonight I replaced it with a universal heat cover (which Walmart sells for about $8) and WOW! what a difference! I now can cook with the lid open and everything comes out great. Trust me the extra eight dollars really makes this a nice little grill. Good BBQ'ing!
