I bought this for my daughter in law. Her and my son are expecting thier first child. We have all been so excited with this! We can occassionally hear some sounds but she is not far enough into the pregnancy to get the full use of it yet. Very excited.

This device worked as expected. No background nose, very sensitive. I found my heartbeat and the baby's at 18 weeks pregnant. I could also hear his kicks...which were so loud I had to turn down the unit. I lay very still in bed and place the unit on my stomach. My husband was also able to hear everything. I expected to have my stomach noises drown out the baby - but that's not the case AT ALL. Once you locate the baby, that's all you hear until he moves away. So size - I'm 5'2" and non prego weight was 105lbs. I heard baby at 120, 125, 130 lbs easily. Takes no time at all to locate the baby, and only a few minutes to find his heart. Can't beat the price for the joy of hearing my boy before he comes around. Wish I had bought it for my first born. :) Enjoy!

I bought this product for my daughter who is 31 weeks pregnant to share the joy of the heartbeat etc with friends and family i was disappointed you hear a slight thump for a kick and cannot hear anything for a heartbeat wish i would of spent the money on other baby products oh well live and learn. we tryed for days on end and then gave up!!

I love this baby heart beat listener. Just make sure you keep the earphone cord away from the main system. Other then that it work very good.

I love this product I bought it when I was 12weeks pregnant with my first baby and could hear everything right away......Cant wait to be able to use it again in a few weeks now that I am pregnant with my second.........Best $20 I have spent.......Now there are alot of mixed reviews on this product so I want to be completely honest and share my thoughts......I am about an average sized woman and heard everything fine.....My friend who is a little bigger was able to use my monitor fine but didnt start hearing anything until she was about 21weeks......Now two of my other friends who are plus size girls could not hear anything on it the entire time they were pregant.....So I believe that how big you are does play a part in being able the hear anything or not......The product is also completely honest with that fact it says in the instruction booklet that the bigger you are the longer it will take to hear anything and some may not be able to use this product.......If you are a bigger woman I dont suggest buying this product but if you are about average size or smaller buy it you will love it.......
