Purchased these to replace the OEM Bridgestones that were installed on my Nissan Murano. The treadwear on these were rated at 90,000km but I now have to replace these with less than 45,000km on them! It's not like one of the tires wore more quickly, it's all 4 which means that I rotated them and had them at the same pressure the whole time. Good thing the garage when I bought them from and have had them serviced since new, knew my service history and will cover the pro-rated warranty with no questions asked! Besides the wear issue, these tires, when they had tread, worked great! They are quiet, and I had nothing but confidence when I was behind the wheel in all weather conditions, (with the exception of winter, I have another set for winter driving).
I purchased the Latitude Tour HP's approximately 2 years ago and I am completely happy with their wear, ride and handling. I also have a set of X-Ice winter tires and I am equally happy with that set of tires. Handling is second to none. The vehicle came with Kumo's and it was like driving around on 4 cement blocks compared to the Michelins.
I've got my SUV from Japan with the Toyo tires. Excellent grip, a bit noisy and lasted 3 years. Replaced them with Michelin. Excellent grip, much lower noise and lasted 7 years. Now I have both all-season and winter tires from Michelin. And forget to check the tires pressure for months. When change from all-season to winter and back, the pressure is still nominal.
My Ford Explorer XLT came equipped with the Michelin Latitude HP tires. At 42,140km I had to replace the tires and they were mostly highway driven! Sad part 8/32 tread left on tires. On extended Ford warranty so just over the 3 yr/60,000km warranty on new vehicle. Don't waste your money on these tires. My Ford Explorer XLT la in past (5 of them) all had BFGoodrich tires and never a flat tire, low tire in 22yrs This last Explorer XLT nothing but flat tires!
I'm extremely surprised that a grade 1 tire manufacturer would allow these tires to pass as quiet tires. They are much louder then competitors tires. It's unfortunate that quality standards have gone by the way side in order to produce greater profits. I was normally a big fan of Michelin tires but I;'m not to sure anymore.
