Mini Dehumidifier 2.11 Pints

After doing lots of research online - trying desperately to find a small form factor dehumidifier for a walk in closet - it seems like I found a good one. We have had this dehumidifier for about two weeks now and it is working well. We don't leave it on constantly, but it does stay on for 8-10 hours at a time everyday. The little water collector has been getting filled, it seems to be doing the job nicely. Many reviews before mine have mentioned the loud fan, the inconsistency of the product, and the horrible customer service from the manufacturer. These are all valid points. The fan has been fine, not the quietest, but not unbearable. Many people have complained of it just completely dying, that hasn't happened yet, though we have had problems with the plug where the power supply plugs in gets wonky and it loses power - just jiggle the cord to get it to start up again. I am not even going to try to call the company if I need support; I am a tinkerer and will fix whatever breaks. For the price and its size, there just isn't any other product on the market, so for now at least I have to accept it and hope it doesnt die.

This product works as described. I use it in my bathroom, which does not have a wimdow. It takes out the excess moisture in the air, so I can now close the door when taking a shower. Before, it got too humid, and was almost like a sauna in the summer and very chilly in the winter. Very pleased with the results.

Ok.. I'm only writing because it is really useful to me to read reviews before buying anything nowadays. This thing was kind of expensive but so far (1 week) It's working marvels. I use it for about 3 - 6 hours a day and it's already "captured" about 2 pints of water. It's quiet and nice looking. I use it for a medium sized bathroom. Works perfect for what I needed.

We purchased this product for a very small bathroom which has no exhaust fan. We have had problems with mildew and hoped this would help. So far, it is working great and pulls a lot of humidity while we are showering. The size is perfect as it fits great on our compact shelf/magazine rack. Which happens to be another wonderful Walmart purchase.

I've only had this product one week, but it seems great so far. It's collecting more moisture than I thought it would. Can't really tell how quiet it is because it's in a room with a large laser printer which is on all the time and makes quite a constant noise in itself. I was advised to get a dehumidifier because of all the paper (particularly glossy, but all paper) that I store in my office. I really l like the compact size of the unit . . . and the low price! 1/3 the cost of the smallest of the larger dehumidifiers. I'll need to review it again after a month or so.
