This coffee alternative seemed to promise just that – focus without the jitters. I've found my sweet spot is blending a rounded teaspoon with hot water, a splash of my favorite plant-based milk, and a tiny dash of cinnamon; it creates a surprisingly robust and satisfying drink. What struck me first was the sustained energy – a gentle, clear alertness that lasted for hours without any of the usual frantic peaks and valleys. My brain fog dissipated, replaced by a focused clarity that helped me power through my most demanding tasks. I've noticed a significant improvement in my ability to concentrate and even my mood seems more balanced throughout the day. It's truly revolutionized my morning routine, offering all the good vibes of coffee with none of the unwanted side effects. I've tried at least 5 mushroom-based coffee alternatives ever since discovering MUDWTR and this is my favorite. Smooth, nice flavor, I drink it daily paired with various non-dairy creamers for some variety.
I was a little hesitant when deciding to buy this since I wasn't able to taste it before purchasing. I also really don't like things flavored with stevia. This definitely has the "stevia" taste to it, but the product overall is really really tasty. It tastes just like you would expect hot chocolate to taste if it were sweetened with stevia. My partner and I both really like it. We found that 1 scoop for a 8-12 oz serving size is a bit too strong, so we're doing 1 scoop to 16oz (heated water and milk). We like this so much we're buying 2 more in the unsweetened variety and 1 salted caramel version, just to see how that one is.
The taste is extremely bitter with a burnt aftertaste. I would not recommend it.
Planning to use it instead of coffee. Small size. Impressive ingredients list.
