De'Longhi - Nespresso Vertuo Plus Deluxe Coffee and Espresso Maker by De'Longhi, Matte Black - Matte Black

Have had recurring problems with the machine over brewing. It's less than 3 months old. I keep getting the run around and nespresso refuses to honor the warranty and replace. They insist that I keep running the same cycle of troubleshooting that temporarily fixes the problem until it recurs in a month. Be careful, the warranty seems to not be worth the ink it's printed with.

This coffee machine is a piece of Junk that I would not recommend unless you enjoy having a full mass of coffee spread all over your counter. The machine has an adjustable cup holder that I use at the bottom placement. His cup holder does not fit into the slot that can be locked into place. Even if you test it before using it to make sure it's fitted properly does not help. Simply adding the coffee cup can dislodge the holder resulting in coffee missing the cup and spilling out coffee everywhere. I repeat, do not buy this. Coffee maker. Complete junk. One star because it is required to send this review.

I have had my machine going on 3 years and it is very inconsistent. I loved it at first but over the past few years, it will not pull water through the machine even after attempts at cleaning and resetting the machine. Given the price, I would expect it to last more than 3 years. Save your money and find a more reliable machine.

Purchased a Vertuo Next machine which included the frother - due to having Nespresso at a family member's home and loved it - the of March, 2025, it started leaking water underneath as well as all over our counter after a couple of weeks, thought it was the water tank, tried another water tank, still leaked but never did when water tank was set on the counter by itself so returned the machine where we purchased, decided to order a Vertuo Evoluo hoping it works better and if it does not we will sadly have to stop drinking Nespresso.

My old vertuo machine broke and I chose this machine as a replacement. However this model design is horrible with the water container in the back of the machine. You have to completely pull the machine out from the wall to add water. And while it touts being “thin” it is way too deep for the counter and sticks out from my other machines. . I returned, huge disappointment. Would love to get my first vertuo machine back but it does not accommodate the larger pods.
