Neutrogena Men Skin Clearing Salicylic Acid Acne Face Wash, 5.1 fl. oz

When I bought this product, I was a little unsure because my face is so naturally prone to acne that I felt there's no way this one will work either. But within only a few days, I saw results. I was so happy and I began to truly believe in this product, like I was willing to use it for a long time and I finally found a face-wash that suited me. I began to look online for more information on this product to see what others thought or possibly other products within its lineup I could purchase. I was confused when I read so many complaints about the dryness of skin. It's a salicylic acne treatment people, that's what it's supposed to do. But then it hit me. What hit me, you ask? THE DRYNESS. Nothing. NOTHING on this planet could possibly stop my skin from flaking that day. The moisturizer I was using was FROM NEUTROGENA. My skin was dryer than the Sahara and I had to discontinue use before my entire face just peeled off. Sorry, Neutrogena.... but you really let me down.

This is a great product! Has worked great for me. I have been using this product for about 6 months and it has cleared up my face in about a week and ever since it's just been smooth clear skin. If you are thinking about this product and not sure, BUY IT NOW!!! It's more the worth it for sure! I.M.O best face cleanser on the market PERIOD!

I read the previous reviews and am astonished that so many people didn't like it. (I believe they may be allergic to the Salicylic Acid in the product.) I have large pores and some hair on my face. (I don't have a beard but a few stragglers underneath my chin and jawline.) I've also suffered from acne all my life and this is the ONLY product that has worked for me. It has lessen the breakouts and my skin is softer. I use it along with the Oil-Free Acne Stress Control Triple-Action Toner.

I am a 42 year old man that still has acne issues. I love this product. I wash my face with it in the shower after the hot water has opened my pores. Works great. I also have a teenage son with typical acne issues and his face has also cleared up using this product. For the price this is a great value.

I had some acne up near my hairline, so I bought this product because I have used Neutrogena's facial cleansing bar for years. I used the Skin Clearing Acne Wash once in the morning and once that night. The next day I woke up to take my shower and I had red spots all over my face, worst where I shave, and my skin was flaky-dry (I am caucasian). That was three days ago, I haven't shaved since, and my skin is still incredibly dry and there are still red spots all over my cheeks and neck. The little bit of acne at my hairline is not quite gone, either. I am 32 years old and this is the worst hygiene product I have ever used in my lifetime.
