New Visions by Lane, Full/Queen Headboard, Mountain Pine Collection

The only reason I don't give this headboard 5 stars total is the unfinished legs (planks, really) are visible from the sides. I wish they attached to the back a little further in. As for everything else, the headboard iitself is beautifully finished and is a near perfect match to my pine dresser. It's very well packaged and attaching the legs was easy (though I had to drill additional holes to match my bedframe). In the Q & A, the bolts (not included) are easily obtained in Walmart's hardware section for only 97 cents a pack. I wanted something attractive without spending a fortune and that's exactly what I got.

This item is advertised as being made of "pine" - but it is NOT pine. It is 100% processed, pressed, fake wood --- all except for the metal screws that came with it. Ugh. To me, pressed wood anything - stinks. It DOES look exactly as pictured, and does fit well on a queen bed though, so we wound up using it and not taking it back. It is going in a guestroom in our house that probably only gets used 4-5 times a year, if that, so the fact it's made of a really cheap fake wood doesn't matter that much to us. But I wound never, ever put this piece of junk in my own bedroom or in any room that is used regularly.

I ordered this headboard with the intention of painting it white to fit a 'shabby chic' theme. This is not an heirloom piece of furniture -- but for the price it provided great value for me. It looks great painted, but even unpainted it doesn't look as inexpensive as it is.

I bought this headboard for a guest room. I read all the reviews and knew I was not buying an excellent piece of quality furniture. I was very pleased when it arrived. It was packed and protected very well. It is nice to look at, and no one would realize it was an inexpensive piece. The price was great and it looks real nice. I would recommend this headboard to others.

I got this product for a specific purpose....for a spare bedroom which is used sparingly. Great price, great look, great overall product, excellent value. Actually, I went to several thrift shops first only to find that used, scratched-up and in some cases already broken down headboads were priced higher than this. I made the right decision, hope you do too!
