Nexxus Shampoo for Hair Prone to Split Ends, 33.8 oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have waist length hair, am 57 years old. Live on the lake, the sun and wind takes it's toll on my hair. This shampoo is great, really makes my hair soft, and smooth, mends and seems to prevent split ends!

I used this product a few years ago and achieved the longest, healthiest hair in my life. I then decided to go blonde after having my hair dyed dark the month prior. My stylist was meticulous took 8 hours to bleach my hair by applying bleach, rinsing, applying protein treatment, and repeating to prevent damage. Hair was beautiful and not brassy but not platinum yet. I was supposed to wait until the following month to prevent damaging hair. A coworker told me to try a shampoo that would strip any color out of my hair to make it platinum. I thought a shampoo would be fine. It broke half my head of hair off at the scalp and looked like the worst 80's punk rock haircut ever. I have gone back to my dark hair with just blonde highlights but no matter what I tried it remained damaged and seemed to never grow. It grew as I saw the dark roots come in where my blonde streaks are so I knew it grew quickly but never gained length due to the end breakage. I always had a collection of two inch long ends on my sink that broke off every time I brushed or styled my hair. I generally blow dry daily with an infrared dryer on the lower heat setting and use a Hot Tools straightener on lowest setting (280 bangs and 350 or 380 remainder of my all-one-length hair) as my hair has just enough wave that I am forced to straighten it. I tried everything possible and went back to the ProMend as it worked before and I have used Nexxus products (Humectress) in previous years. After the first shampoo the difference was visually apparent. I have continued to use it for six weeks now and my hair finally looks longer and so much healthier! I am ecstatic and won't change products again! I recommend everyone try it! The price is so reasonable especially when you compare to other product lines designed for damaged hair. None stopped the breakage or made it healthy like Nexxus ProMend! THANK YOU NEXXUS! (My score on the fragrance is not based on the scent, it smells very nice, I just like strongly perfumed shampoo but an aromatherapy junkie.)

As a licensed hair-stylist I have used many products that "claim" to mend split-ends. This shampoo is the best Ive EVER used at any price! It deep cleans but doesnt dry and smells amazing. It really preps the hair for thae conditioner, treatments and styling products. MUST TRY!

I've been using this product for 2 months now and it works great with my hair. It leaves it looking shiny and really curly and soft. Yes im a curly hair girl. This is the only shampoo along with the conditioner and leave in treatment that i am extremely in love with

this is the best shampoo i have ever used and ive almost bought them all.i love the smell the way my hair is after i wash it and best part is my hair is not frizzy at all! my hair is soft managable thank you nexxus my search is over im using this shampoo forever so please dont ever discontune this !
