NUK Expressive Double Electric Breast Pump

I had to rely on my granddaughter for this input. She states the following: The pump was very easy to hook up and use. The washing and keeping clean was very easy if you follow instructions. She said that following the instructions was very helpful to her. She liked the fact that you could do both breasts at the same time. She said it would have been nice to have two sets of switches and controls so you could adjust the suction of each one separately due to one side taking more suction to evacuate. All in all she stated it was a time saver and easy to use and keep clean.

I had another name brand electric pump that promised me everything short of the moon and stars.......it did NOT deliver. It would take me about 30 minutes to pump 3 oz total from both breasts. I at first thought there was something wrong with ME....and then I stopped using it all together. Then came along the NUK electric pump, and I fell in love. Its small, light, doesn't clutter up my desk/couch when I'm pumping, and is FAST!!! I love that I can pause it to switch breasts, or pump on both altogether. I'm getting double the expression in less than half the time. And another good thing is it works with my other NUK bottles! So I just attach the bottle, pump, and store in the fridge. My little guy gets the good stuff, and the whole family gets to take part in feeding him. Thank you NUK Expressive Double Electric Breast Pump!

This is a GREAT value for the money! It was very easy to assemble and use. As well, it is likewise easy to clean and reassemble. The machine itself is sleek and modern looking and is small enough to fit in my “work bag”. As well, the cone/funnel parts are one piece so milk does not build up in cracks and get wasted. However, the machine itself is pretty loud…so that is a concern for self-conscious mommas (or papa's if you need to pump while he is sleeping). There is no “battery option”…so you HAVE to be plugged in to a wall outlet (at least there will be no pumping and driving happening). BEST FEATURE: memory (like for your driver's seat)…once I found the best setting for me, I could program it in! Also, the suction strength and the speed are able to be adjusted independently. While the “price is right” and this is a GREAT value for the money…it does not have “extras” such as a carrying bag (which if you are self-conscious is ok since you can purchase something not obvious…but not having a place for the tubing if you pump in public is kind of gross). If you need a good pump for a little money, this is the pump for you!

I was skeptical at first to try the NUK expressive double electric pump. I have previously used an Ameda pump that worked quite well. It stopped working, so I decided to give the NUK expressive double electric pump a try. I really liked that the NUK expressive double electric pump came with two bottles that I will actually use, and not just pump in. I love the unisex cute design on the bottles. I would have bought them by them selves if I had needed to. I do wish that the pump came with a carry bag, but I can use the one from my old pump so that is not a major issue. Just like the expensive pump, the NUK expressive double electric pump has multiple speed and suction settings so that I can fin which one works best to most efficiently pump my milk. I like the memory feature also that can go to the setting that I like the most. The NUK expressive double electric pump is a little loud, but in my experience all breast pumps are. I like how the flanges are cushiony (you can never get enough comfort for breastfeeding breasts!). I also like that I can use it for single or double use. It is not quite as strong if a suction as my ameda was, but then again I never used the maximum suction setting anyway. It def is worth the price.

Not sure if it's common, but other pumps can HURT. This is not one of those! It's pretty much pain-free, it's easy to use, really convenient to take around (will fit into a large diaper bag easier than most). It's not silent-- it makes enough noise for me to think "I wish it were quieter" but it's not so loud that it negates the pump's other really positive attributes.
