Pressing the bottom of the container breaks a foil seal and allows water to drain into the heating chamber, which contains quicklime. This combination creates heat. The beverage is heated without ever touching the mixture. Made in USA. For best results activate at room temperature (65 - 75 degrees F). Step 1. Turn container upside down, Pull off metal tamper-proof bottom. Step 2. Place on flat surface. With thumb, firmly push button downward until green water drains. After 10 seconds and turn container right-side-up. Step 3. This spot changes color from pink to white (5 - 8 min) when beverage is hot. Twist lid to align opening. Shake, open and enjoy!
