Open Sided 3-Shelf Bookcase, Black and Light Oak

Purchased 2 small bookcases to make 1 bookcase with 5 shelves. Assembled in about 10-15 minutes. Hopefully the taller shelving will be back in stock later which I have purchased in the past. Holding up very well (don't use heavy objects though; perhaps just on bottom shelf only.)

I live in a senior one bedroom cottage, a friend had one in his place & I liked the size plus the way it looked , so I ordered one. It came in two days because I have Shipping Pass with Walmart. Very easy to put together. I liked it so much that I got a second one , they are perfect for my two wall recliners, they really complemented my living room decor.

This bookshelf is very sturdy and easy to put together, so why the low rating? I ordered two of these - they never came. I had to cancel the order. I ordered one this last time. It came BUT the black pieces to finish off the shelves were all smashed. Now it says they are out of stock. I know these shelves are really good for the price because I bought the taller ones for books. Very sturdy. Don't know what gives with the smaller shelves. I would not recommend this unit right now because of all the shipping problems.

I have two of these now. I bought the first one about a year ago and was so pleased with that one, I came back for a second after another shelf I bought (from a different vendor) turned out to be a piece of junk and fell apart. They're side by side in my home office, and I use them to store supplies, and one also holds my plants and my printer. They look great together. These shelves are durable, and super easy to put together. The first one I put together with a friend -- took us all of 5 minutes. The second I put together myself and still it only took about 10 minutes. Didn't even need instructions. For the price and materials used, they're quite sturdy, and the two-tone look is attractive. I'm very happy with them.

These shelves are perfect for an elementary school classroom! They are easy to put together, look great, and are very lightweight. They probably couldn't stand too much rough treatment, but like anything, the better you take care of it, the longer it will last! A great buy!
