Oral Supplement Ensure Original Therapeutic Nutrition Chocolate 8 oz Bottle Ready to Use

My grandson has Autism and doesn't eat food. He can only drink Ensure. He prefers the vanilla flavor. However the high sugar content causes him to be very hyperactive. Is there anything you can do to lower the sugar? It would probably help his Behavorial problem. Thanks.

So overall this product has saved my life in eating disorder recovery. It was all I was able to tolerate in the hospital and in residential treatment. It was a great way to get the nutrition that I needed and I still drink it even though I am out of treatment because I am now a freshman in college and don't always have time. I am a little concerned at the sugar content and if that is a normal amount of sugar. If one bottle has 15g and one meal is at least two, That means you consume 90g of sugar at least a day if you have six servings. I don't know if anyone else has thought about this I am just curious you know?
