Pantech Link P7040 Feature Phone, 2.4"320 x 240, 3G, Black

Though this phone is unlocked, it did not work with my sim card. I called the manufacturer and was told it is a discontinued product and the problem was not my sim card but the phone itself.

Love this phone. Looks like a blackberry but it's not. I don't need all the bells and whistles of a smartphone or iPhone. This is perfect. Easy texting and very user friendly. I'm not very tech savvy and I got this phone to work for me in minutes. Love it. Screen could be a little bit bigger.

I like the Pantech; I have a Slate (C530) but the battery connector has become worn. Ordered the Link (7040P) but ATT cannot get any of the Email to work Internet and Text work fine I will need to return this phone before my 15 day period expires

I've had this phone for 2 weeks and it meets all my expectations. I have puretalk usa service which uses at&t towers and when i put my sim card everything worked perfectly. One drawback is that the keys are a little small but overall perfect for me for just a talk and text phone.

Even though it's GSM and "Unlocked" this is an AT&T phone and if you don't use AT&T as your cell phone carrier - no matter what sim card they put in there - you will only get phone and texts to work. You won't be able to send pictures and retreive emails... I am returning this!!! Walmart - put a HUGE DISCLAIMER about this in the description as I'm sure most of these will be returned for the same reason...
