This filter did not fit the Bodum 34oz double-walled very well especially after removing the rubber ring. It was a bit too small in diameter.I strongly question if the material of the inner filter is stainless steel. It seems like some type of plastic but it is so hard to be sure.
This filter is great. I love my coffee really strong and fill the paper filters to the Max with grounds to get the strength I want. Grounds always end up in my coffee, but not with this filter. It fits in my Zojirushi coffee carafe and there was extra room leftover after I put my grounds in. The flavor was so much better than with paper filters as well, I wasn’t even expecting that. Well worth the price.
What is dislike about product is the grounds stick in filter when you go to empty it..you always seem to get grounds going down sink...but of the flip side of things a quick rinse after you knock the majority of the grounds in trash, the rest come out easy..and your good to go.
I've been using the paper filters for years. It's a drag when I run out and have to run to the store in the morning just to get my coffee going. This filter works great. Does exactly what it's supposed to do...and I can't tell if there is any flavor loss or difference than paper so far. I recommend it for sure.
Makes a very smooth cup of coffee. I like the simplicity of 1 part to clean and use. I just use with my old French press pitcher and throw it in the dishwasher. I do feel like there after a couple months of use could be some build up around the bottom and top of the filter because of the seams between the metal and mesh.
