Paw Patrol, Mission Chase

My daughter is a huge fan of Paw Patrol so I'm very happy I was able to get Mission Chase for her. To activate him you press his badge and he's ready to start a mission. Chase will let you know what he needs for the mission such as "launch my net to save kitty" and other missions he'll let you select the right tool for the job. There are buttons on his back pack that open up the side compartments so you can use the tools. The net launcher is my daughter's favorite tool because she loves to see it fly through the air. You have to be sure to match the two grooves that are on the side of the net and slide it down into the launcher until you hear a click then it's ready to launch again. The search light lights up when you press the button on top of the back pack and it also has an amplifier where you can talk into it which you can hear your voice loud and clear. Chase can move his head up and down and to the side. He also moves his hind legs. You can manually move his front legs and paws to position him in a different stance. Chase works with batteries and I'm pleased that he was ready to go right out of the box. He has 24 missions and says over 100 phrases so your child will certainly have lots of fun with him.

I chose this toy for my four year old son, he absolutely loves Paw Patrol. We have the fleece blankets, shirts, lunch box and more. His face was priceless when he saw his mission Chase. I love the packaging for how this came it feels like "THE" gift something special. It was easy to open, a plus that the batteries are already included. This toy comes ready to use. I love the size of this its not something little like an action figure it is a good size feels like a real friend to play with and take around. I know that my son will definitely want to take this to show and tell on Friday. Chase comes fully loaded I like the fact that he has so many phrases before it repeats so you as the parent won't get sick of the toy before your child it through playing with it. So far Chase seems durable I would not recommend taking him out side on a hard surface as it is made up of an acrylic like tempered plastic. Definitely made for soft surfaces. This toy is a joy it will capture any childs attention and imagination from loyal fans of the show to those who have never heard of PAW Patrol. Great gift idea. I would recommend this for purchase. I did look this product up to see general pricing and the only thing I feel is that it is prices a little high averaging $60 dollar. I feel that this is more of a $25-$35 dollar item,

Paw Patrol Mission is an absolute favorite with my grandsons. To be fair, the TV series has been a favorite for some time and made the toy, and the character, very familiar to them. The Chase figure is a substantial size and just very well made. Chase is equipped with a spring loaded backpack with a net that shoots out for rescuing animal friends. He also has a flashlight to show the way and a megaphone that your child can use. The megaphone is cool but require getting your mouth right down on top of the toy. To me it was awkward but kids don't seem to mind getting down there so I guess that says it all. Chase will lead you through 24 missions and says over 100 phrases, which the kids found really cool. My four year old grandson liked following Chase's instructions while the 22 month old just likes to mess with the figure and ignored instructions. Good to know it's not just me that he ignores! when the four year old is on a mission it's best to keep his little brother away to avoid frustration. There are Megaphone missions, Searchlight missions and Net launching missions, which were a favorite. All in all the toy is a good value. The kids were thrilled. I would have liked to see chase actually walk instead of just shifting around but like I said the kids loved it.

I have a great grandson that will only watch football or Paws Patrol on television. He is 2 years old. His mom told me he had played with this toy in the store and loved it. I told her it is for an older child. But she seems to think he will grow with it. I did read a review from a parent that said her 18 month old, though he could not follow the "missions" was still entertained by it. Well, much to my surprise he is able to interact with it. I thought I would never get it released from the box. I was afraid I would break it. The toy is hard plastic and certainly not cuddly but it does so many things and says so many phrases it holds his attention far longer than any toy I have witnessed him playing with. AND batteries are included! I usually always buy batteries when I get a toy and forgot since this was shipped to me earlier than I expected, so was very pleased I did not have to disappoint him and make him wait till I got batteries. Extra bonus was my grand daughter thought I was talking about the "small" Chase toy. So, even she is surprised that he is being able to REALLY play with it. He listens very carefully to his mission instructions and really tries to carry them out. So, right now he does need a little adult help but I can see he will quickly be able to do everything by his self. He can't get the net back in but honestly I have a hard time myself. He loves the megaphone and searchlight. I am supposed to take pictures as part of the Spark Reviewer Program. I am going to have to break down and buy a new camera so can't supply pics this time. Not to worry though as, the website at Walmart.com has an excellent picture and even a video of Chase. If your child loves Paw Patrol you can't miss with this toy. If they don't watch the show though, I doubt it would make any sense to them.

My child is a huge fan of Paw Patrol so when my child received the Paw Patrol Chase, my child was super excited and thrilled! My child has played with the dog multiple times in the past few weeks. My child can and has played with the dog for hours on end. I am fond of the dog because it comes with games/missions that the dog and my child can do together. I feel that in doing the games/missions that this is helping my child to learn new and fun things. I think that my child will enjoy this toy for many months to come.
