Philips GoLite BLU Energy Therapeutic Light Box, Rechargeable, Model HF3422/60

This product helps with my seasonal affective disorder. The only issue I have with it is the placement of the power cord. It plugs into a slot underneath the stand, which causes the stand to press against the power cord if you want to lay it flat while charging it. My power cord no longer works reliably because the plug has been damaged by the stand during charging. Sure, you can argue I should have always charged it standing up, but 1) I didn't know that and now it's too late, and 2) I should be able to charge it in whatever position is convenient for me. I probably won't buy this product again when I have to replace it due to this design flaw.

I was sent a free sample of this product to review. It is not something I would normally be in the market for but was pleasantly surprised. During the winter months I have used it first thing in the morning while getting ready for work. I didn't notice a huge difference in my energy level but then I have never had big problems with seasonal affective disorder (as I live in the south). I was pleasantly surprised that I did begin to feel slightly more awake and energized when using the light first thing in the day. Product is easy enough to use and very portable.

I was surprisingly shocked at how much I have enjoyed this product! If you sit at a desk and feel like you are going to fall asleep while you are working, this is great to have sitting in front of you. I am not sure how it does it, but I was practically falling asleep at work one day and I turned this on for about 20 mixtures and stopped yawning and felt wide awake. One thing I have noticed is that I tend to leave it on longer than I should. It says you should only do it for a certain amount of time, but sometimes I accidentally leave it on for more than an hour. I would say if you could fix anything I would say it should have an automatic turn off after it hits an hour. Overall, I received this in exchange for an honest review, and I will have to say that I am impressed with this product! I would definitely recommend getting it!

I was sent a free sample of this device to try out. I found the idea of it interesting and look forward to trying it out. I brought it to work and set it up as instructed. Since I get to work early, I liked the idea of a product that could improve my energy. Didn`t work for me. I found the light very distracting as I worked and dont feel it helped me in anyway. After a week, I put it away. Maybe it will help you, but I know it didn`t work for me.

I was provided the Blu light in exchange for an honest review. I have been using the Blue Light therapy for about 8 days now and I am not sure if it's to soon to tell, but I feel like I have noticed a slight boost in my mood and a more restful nights sleep. I basically turn the light on in the morning for about 45 min while I check and send out my emails. It has a sort of soothing/calming effect while on. I can not attest to any significant changes or this being a 'life changing' appliance but I could see it helping those who are in a situation where they are not able to get out in the sunshine so much or work long hours inside. In theory the blu light is suppose to help improve mood and improve energy level by simulating the effect of sunlight (I believe). It's somewhat compact in size and perfect for a desk or nightstand top. It's very quiet and doesn't produce heat like some lights would. overall, I have been thrilled with this little light and the way that it makes me feel. I wouldn't hesitate to suggest it to a friend who was suffering from the blues or need a little boost while stuck indoors all day. I think the price point is fair considering all the ways that this does lhelp give you a boost and well worth the money.
